Zia Lucia Pizzeria London Review
After a long week at work we were looking forward to Zia Lucia’s Pizzeria in North London. Zia Lucia has 2 branches (i) Highbury & Islington and (ii) Brook Green. We went to the Highbury & Islington branch. Our friend who was on his way to meet us had fallen off his bike when he skidded in an oil patch near Tower Hill. He said his life flashed before his eyes! But he is ok thank goodness.
What we ordered:
- Mortadella with focaccia gluten free dough
- Paperon de pepperoni with traditional dough: Tomato, mozzarella, spianata, spicy salami, roasted peppers
- Paperon de pepperoni with vegetable charcoal dough that has digestive gas absorbing capacities!
- Centurione gluten free pizza: Tomato, mozzarella, parma ham, rocket, parmigiana
We had friendly service that accompanied our tasty mortadella with focaccia and pizzas that we washed down with Italian white wine and water. See our Italian white wine review. This is a venue which is friendly, relaxed and casual that is popular with friends and families.
