Famiglia Bonato Le Rive Manzoni Bianco Italian white wine review
We ordered a bottle of Famiglia Bonato Le Rive Manzoni Bianco Italian white wine (£24 per bottle) to drink with our pizzas at Zia Lucia. This producer has its vineyard with medium texture soil in Pradamano. The grapes are set in steel basins before separating the skins and fermentation with selected yeasts.
It’s fine as an accompaniment to the pizza but not much more than a standard table wine. On the nose, Le Rive Manzoni shows light aromas of sunny, grassy meadows. On the palate, it is slightly fruity, medium length and with enough acid backbone to hold itself with the food.
